If we're going to make a mess in the kitchen, we want to share the final product with you as we bake the world a more just and compassionate place!
Challah Back Girls fundraises for, supports, and uplifts organizations leading racial equity work by connecting people to the Jewish ritual of challah—a traditionally Jewish, braided bread. Through sharing this Jewish tradition, we provide an educational opportunity for healing and transforming social injustice. Check out our doughnations page to see what organizations we have supported, and who we are supporting this month!

What You Knead to Know This Month:
The Jewish holiday of Passover is coming up at the end of March! Long story short: when the Jews escaped Egypt, they didn't have time to let their bread rise before going into the desert, so they brought unleavened bread. To commemorate this, Jews do not eat leavened bread or bread products during Passover. This means, we will not be baking challah between March 19 through April 5.
